Get your Balance on in Anglesey this April

It seems to be that in recent years there has been a real and genuine movement to create a bit of time and space in our lives for self-care and a chance to breathe. Maybe this is the result of the ever-increasing presence and dependence upon technology and gadgets in our busy lives. People are feeling a sense of disconnect, missing the world going by as we stare, distracted from our surroundings, into a screen. There has been an apparent realisation that the world around us is something to be respected and savoured.

Whatever the reason, people are seeking ways to find balance and create simple more sustainable lives. We’ve been working with the team at The Outbuildings to bring together activities that help to bring about changes to create a renewed sense of awareness for your own health and wellbeing.
We’ve set up a weekly yoga classes on a Tuesday morning at The Outbuildings, which are open to all and welcome a range of abilities. Through Wild Wales we offer the chance to expand on your knowledge and really indulge yourself through one of our wonderful retreats. Over the course of a weekend, we guide you on an enjoyable journey to help you restore some balance to your lifestyle. We do this through exercise, mindfulness, nourishing food and experiencing the great outdoors.
The Outbuildings is perfectly placed in the Anglesey countryside and equipped to offer our attendees space to relax and unwind in gorgeous surroundings. Our walks can be from the door or minutes away by car are some of the most beautiful beaches and coves in the whole of Wales. We are lucky to have the incredible chefs at The Outbuildings on hand over the course of the weekend to create an inventive, tasty, daily menu and we are sure to take in to account any dietary requirements.
I’ve grown up on Anglesey, surrounded by the sea and the mountains and know the area so well. I love all seasons on the Island, my home, however, Spring is a great season for a retreat of this kind. After a winter of excesses and with the warmer weather just around the corner, it’s the perfect time for a restorative detox of mind and body.
We believe in a holistic approach and myself and the Wild Wales team will ensure that you leave on the Sunday evening feeling revived, refreshed and renewed. We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks or at one of our retreats later on in the year.
